     Phineas Flynn was a child prodigy. At the age of about 6, his interest in building bloomed when his mother married his new father, and his stepbrother, Ferb, came along. The two of them became quick friends as well as great brothers, and they spent all their spare time working on new and exciting projects. Every summer, they built no less than fifty different things, including robotic treehouses, giant ice cream machines, a backyard beach, a floating stadium, a cartoon company, and a space ship. And those were all just when Phineas was eleven! He enjoys building even to this day, and is going to MIT to become a rollercoaster and rides engineer, with the hopes of one day building the fastest, tallest roller coaster, and the most awesome waterslides in history.  He's a motivated, hyperactive young man who thinks out loud, and despite all his intelligence, he's very oblivious to very obvious things, and has trouble picking up on the little nuances most people have. Even though he's oblivious, he's incredibly optimistic, and always tries to make the best of everything. His brother, Ferb, generally acts as Phin's foil, keeping him from making a fool of himself TOO badly, and keeps him company, even though he never feels like he's alone.
